Skin needling is a minimally invasive treatment using the advanced Dermapen 4 micro-needling device. It creates precise and controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This process triggers the natural healing response, igniting an inflammatory response and laying the foundation for collagen and elastin production.

You can expect a sunburn-like sensation immediately after treatment, with mild shedding starting from day three. You may have about 5 days of skin tightness, dryness and possibly mild peeling/flaking but there is no requirement for restriction in activities except for avoiding sun exposure.
Professional skin needling is considered to be one of the safest skin treatment procedures. Like all cosmetic procedures, skin needling carries some side effects and risks. Skin needling should be avoided in patients who have low platelet counts, skin or systemic infections, a tendency to keloid scarring or who are on blood thinning medications. Maintenance sessions are recommended every 6-12 months.
